US OPEN STARS TAKE OVER TIMES SQUARE TO #RALLYFORACAUSE |

On Thursday, August 21, some of the biggest names in tennis will bring the excitement of the upcoming US Open from Queens to Manhattan for a good cause. Tennis stars including Bob and Mike Bryan, Victoria Azarenka, Taylor Townsend, and Jack Sock and are among those partnering up with US Open sponsor Esurance for #RallyForACause, a fund-raising fan festival that will bring a state-of- the-art tennis court to life in the middle of Times Square.

Throughout #RallyForACause, the players will put their speed and accuracy to the test to raise money for The V Foundation, one of the nation’s leading cancer research organizations. The Foundation awards competitive grants through a process vetted by a Scientific Advisory Committee comprised of the nation’s top doctors and scientists.

Esurance aims to raise $150,000 for The V Foundation. Those watching #RallyForACause in-person or following online will also have a chance to help. The company is pledging to donate $10 on behalf of anyone who visits the event and checks-in with an Esurance rep and $1 for everyone who Tweets @Esurance with the hashtag #RallyForACause.
