They are used to battling it out on the tennis court, but there were some mixed results when stars of the ATP World Tour went head-to-head in an art showdown on Monday at the Rogers Cup in Toronto.

Marin Cilic, Frank Dancevic, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan took to the stage at the Rexall Centre to showcase their artistic talents (or lack thereof…) by adding colour and creativity to sketches prepared for them by artist David Arrigo.

An MC was on hand to give a play-by-play for the audience. The loudest cheer came for Canadian favourite Dancevic. The paintings will later be auctioned during the tournament, with proceeds going to Tennis Matters, a charity for junior tennis in Canada.
