Vicky Duval has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was first diagnosed after a biopsy was taken in England before Wimbledon and further test in the United States have confirmed the results. Hodgkin's is the most common form of cancer in adolescents and fortunately the cancer was caught in a very early stage.

Noah Rubin (18, Rockville Centre, N.Y.) became the second American in the last 20 years to capture the Wimbledon boys’ singles championship today, defeating fellow American and No. 6 seed Stefan Kozlov (16, Pembroke Pines, Fla.), 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, in a historic Wimbledon junior boys’ final this morning at the All England Club in London.

After all the confidence and the hype around one of the fastest rising stars on the WTA, royal connections (albeit by just a name), it was down to the shy former champion to shine while rain clouds threatened, as Petra Kvitova thundered past Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets 6-3 6-0 to win a second Wimbledon title.
Eugenie Bouchard (Westmount, QC) came up short in her first Grand Slam final on Saturday at Wimbledon, falling 6-3, 6-0 to world no. 6 Petra Kvitova in 55 minutes.
It was tennis at 2:00 p.m. sharp for the two women who had outlasted all the others at The Championships. On paper, it looked as if the match could be either woman’s prize. But the game isn’t played on paper.
