“It is always nice to win a trophy and a tournament, so I feel good. I definitely had some fun here at The Boodles. I practiced a lot and the weather was great, which makes it better. I really enjoyed myself and now I am looking forward to Wimbledon.”
“My first round match at Wimbledon is against Vasek Pospisil. He is a great player, especially on fast courts so he will like the grass and I am actually looking forward to it.”
Jan Lennard-Struff
“I really like it here at The Boodles, it is really nice. The courts are good and the surroundings are good. It feels very homely.”
“It is very important to get the practice in and this was a very good opportunity to practice, I have a good feeling for Wimbledon now.”
On facing Lukasz Kubot in the first round of Wimbledon?
“I have not played him yet but I know him through practice. He is a very good player and he likes to play aggressive always on the return, he is serving a good too. Sometimes he likes to play serve and volley, so he tries to go to the net if it is possible. I think he is playing good on the grass courts. I think my game is good for the grass but I need to improve more”.
“I think my game could set the grass but I need to improve more and then I think I can play good on grass.”

“It is a really nice club, and unbelievable atmosphere at The Boodles. It is a really good tournament to prepare for Wimbledon. It helps with getting to know the grass because sometimes you just practice but here you get to feel like it is a real tournament.”
First round opponent at Wimbledon?
“I play against Dusan Lajovic, who is a good player and he reached the last 16 at Roland Garros so he is confident and he is playing really good but I am also playing really good and I have been having a really good year. I know it is going to be a tough match but I am confident, I am playing good and I like the grass. I hope I will do great!”

Ken Skupski
“It was great, this was our first time and it was great to be invited to such a prestigious event and we played some great tennis today.
We like to put on a bit of a show but it is quite serious because of Wimbledon next week so it was great to play on the grass courts against two of the best doubles players in the world.
Wimbledon offered us a wildcard before the entries closed fortunately enough our ranking was high enough to get in this year so I think its my 6th or 7th time, but it is Neal’s first so it’s a big achievement for him.”
Neal Skupski
“It is going to be a dream come true, I have watched Ken since he was a junior playing on the grass at Wimbledon and now its my turn.”
Freddie Nielsen
“I think it was great to play at The Boodles. The most obvious thing is that it is an absolutely beautiful place and the tournament is really nice and the crowd is great. It is a very beautiful court and a really good place to play. It goes without saying we are not used to having the privilege of playing at events like this and it is a nice experience that I personally am going to cherish for the rest of my career.”
On winning the Wimbledon doubles title again? (He won with GBR Jonathan Marray in 2012)
“There is always hope, it is one of the most beautiful things in the world but we have to be realistic and the chances are we are not one of the favourites.”
Johan Brunstrom
“It was really nice and a great atmosphere on the court, playing funny points. It is also good for us to practice and have a match before Wimbledon. It was great, it was fun.”
