Gardnar Mulloys 100th. Birthday Party and More

Editors Note : 10sballs.com had to pull this Gar Mulloy story out of the archives. Gardnar and his lovely wife Lady Jacqueline are extraordinary people. Gar still drinks his milk daily. He credits his healthy living with his long life. There wouldn’t be a world class tennis event in Miami without the amazing Mr. Mulloy ! He helped make Florida it’s own section. He is a God send and a blessing in our sport. We applaud a true “Guardian of the Game”.

In Nov. 2013 Gardnar Mulloy will be receiving “The Gussy Moran Humanitarian Award” Presented By 10sBalls.com

This week a lot was written about the great living legend and first ever hall of Famer to see 100 years old. Gardnar was referred to one to many times as “exchamp”. That just isn’t fitting. It doesn’t work. Gardnar Mulloy was a champion , has always been a champion , and will be eternally a champion ! A truly great individual . Today in Gardnar’s back yard in Miami it’s jammed packed with tennis who’s who. Yes , we were invited. It was so sweet. Gar said. I sure wish you were coming. Us too Gar . A nice fellow named “The Koz ” will be giving Gardnar the Gussy Moran Humanitarian award on our behalf. It’s a crystal Tiffany heart that was given from the heart of Gussy and the crew here at 10sballs. We will have photos for you tomorrow. Big applause needs to go to the beautiful Lady Jacqueline who has helped nurture Gar to this beautiful milestone. As Pancho Segura told Lorne Kuhle this week who told us to pass this along to his coach.” Happy Birthday Gar , Hope you’re drinking more milk and make it to 101.”
