Boris Becker planned reunion with world no.2 Novak Djokovic at the Sony Open has been postponed because the 46 year-old German has fallen ill.
Becker missed Djokovic’s victory at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells because of a court-case in Spain involving a Majorcan villa. The Serb’s former full-time coach Marian Vajda deputized and it is understood he has postponed his trip home to the Slovak Republic to fill a potentially vacant seat in the Djokovic players’ box. Is Boris going to be the next old timer / big timer to get a pink slip?
