Rolex, Esurance, and Michelob ULTRA have signed on as Premier Sponsors of the BNP Paribas Open, the most-attended ATP World Tour and WTA tennis tournament in the world to be held March 3-16, 2014 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, it was announced today by Steve Simon, tournament director.

Rolex will be the official timepiece of the tournament, as part of a multi-year agreement that includes the on-court placement of specially manufactured Rolex clocks in Stadium 1 and the new Stadium 2.

Esurance, the official insurance company of the tournament, elevated their sponsorship from Champion to Premier level through 2015, and is the presenting sponsor for the McEnroe Challenge for Charity. This one-day, free admission special event on Saturday, March 1 will feature multiple Grand Slam Champions, John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Peter Fleming and Rick Leach and will also benefit local charities.

“We are excited to be the official insurance partner for the BNP Paribas Open, and becoming presenting sponsor of the McEnroe Challenge for Charity will continue Esurance’s tradition of actively promoting charitable causes in tennis,” said Esurance President and CEO Gary Tolman. “We’ve been big supporters of tennis for more than 10 years; we look forward to our involvement with this great event.”

Michelob ULTRA is the official beer sponsor of the event through 2015. Their involvement will feature Michelob ULTRA Bars at the Circle of Palms and in the Garden Club Courtyard. ATP players will make special appearances for fans at those locations at various times throughout the tournament.

In addition to these sponsors, Tommy Bahama has become a Contributing Sponsor through 2015. They will be installing a Tommy Bahama Bar, creating a signature drink for the event that comes with a souvenir cup, and also have a strong retail presence within the Indian Wells Tennis Garden Tennis Collection Store.

“Welcoming these new sponsorship developments at the BNP Paribas Open highlights the tournament’s continued growth in prestige and popularity, while providing sponsors an attractive platform to connect with fans onsite and around the world,” said Simon. “We look forward to our sponsors’ collective contribution, which will enhance the overall atmosphere and experience at the event.”
