The Bryan Brothers Foundation was a sell out ! The boys and their families really knocked themselves out and held the most successful fundraiser the Los Angeles tennis scene has seen. They raised a heap of money for local charities.

Lindsay Davenport announced at the Hall of Fame induction that she has another baby on the way. The Leach family is strong for generations to come.

Donald Young jr . Won the Napa challenger. Great week and big congrats.

The Party Rock Open rocked las Vegas once again. Bravo to Jordan Butler. One of the busiest guys around. He had a great tournament. Redfoo couldn’t make it but mama foo was there in force. The tourney has his vibe!  Big applause to Jordan for having a free  military night. Finally tennis does this. Good boy Jordan.

Justin Gimelstob’s baby boy is one month old today. Happy one month to Brandon Gimelstob.

Dusan Vemic is working with two very dynamic women on the eta tour. He says the “vics”. His Andrea Petkovic took out Azeranka this week. And he is maybe with Kristina Mladenovic ? I’ve checked my notes. That’s correct. Talented girl. She won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon.

The mens dubs race for London is really heating up. The final eight are  all solid teams. maybe even the final 12 is a better number ?

The 24-year-old Slovenian player Aljaz Bedene’s season is over due to a serious wrist injury. . .

Novak  Djokovic worked with his coaching consultant, Wojtek Fibak, in Monte Carlo before heading to Beijing. He has yet to decide whether the Pole will join his regular coach, Marian Vajda, as a full member of his team. . .

Angelique Kerber is the first player who has been announced by the Brisbane International. . .

With her semifinal showing in Tokyo, Caroline Wozniacki is only 270 points out of the eighth and final spot for the WTA Championships but knows she needs a good week in Beijing. “Obviously I need to do well here to get into the Championships, and that’s the goal,” she said. “But for me, I think it’s important just to focus on this tournament and not put too much pressure on myself. . .

Venus Williams, who is contending with Sjogren’s Syndrome, says she has a much better handle on the disease these days. “In the beginning I tried traditional medicine and different things, but I didn’t think I was getting results, so I tried more untraditional things, and as of late I feel like I’ve been seeing better results with that,” she said. : So for me the key has been to keep trying different things. It’s like a tennis match – sometimes some things work and some things don’t, and you just have to be patient with everything and keep fighting. It’s a massive learning curve.” . .

Both of the Bryan twins are now gluten free. . .
