Diehard Rafael Nadal fans have been challenged by their tennis hero with an impromptu contest. Through his Facebook page, the ten-time 2013 tournament winner and world No. 2 has asked his faithful to send in pictures of themselves mimicking his famous “Vamos” gesture, a clinched first shooting upwards which comes out almost automatically after a winning point.

The 12 best submissions will receive an unannounced surprise from the player. “I want to thank you for your support on Facebook, we are already 12 million! I want you to share with me in this post a picture imitating my Vamosss gesture,” Nadal posted on Facebook. “The 12 most original pictures will take part of a surprise that I have prepared. I will choose the 12 most creative and original You can participate until Friday. Vamossss!”

Nadal is as much a powerhouse on social media as he is on court, counting 12 million fans to the 13.5 million of Roger Federer. The contest is said to have already sparked a mass of submissions, with time running out on the promotion.
