According to the Wall Street Journal, with Federer’s stunning loss to Tommy Robredo on Monday, the price of non-courtside seats in Arthur Ashe Stadium for Wednesday night – which could have featured a blockbusters between Federer and Rafael Nadal but instead featured Nadal vs. Robredo – was down 22% to $166 from a three-day average price of $212.

The average ticket in the upper deck for Wednesday’s lineup featuring Nadal vs. Robredo even dipped below $100—with some available for as little as $45.
