Tuesday 2nd week |

Yesterday was all about the postponed match of Ana against Vika!

Staring at 11 but prior to that we had our warmup on Arthur Ashe. As the crew was getting ready for the day and setting up the court! The brother of Ana and I created a fake on court interview with the official ESPN microphone.

The match turned out to be a tough long match and not much between the 2 players over more than 2:30 hour match!

Right after I had shortly spoken to Ana I was back on court with Daniela who was going through a routine practise session and went through some of the strategy of her match against Vika in the quarter finals on Wednesdays night!

During this 2nd week the juniors are battling it out and it is a big step from playing in the juniors to the pro’s! The registration and headquarters are located at a slightly different location

However the juniors do have access to the pro player restaurant and lounge. The experience of being around the top players is an experience of a life time and a dream for many coming true!

Sorry for the late post but I had my first morning of not having to be on a 8 am bus instead now heading to the site for an exiting day at the open. For the quarter final night match of Daniela and Vika!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
