Day 3 at The US Open

Day 3 at The US Open  |

As I am writing this story I am in the same place I was last night 8 hours ago! The US Open is for many reason the toughest slam of them all! Primarily due to the fact that matches are going past midnight due to the night sessions or the weather!

 

Yesterday it was the weather that caused interruptions and cancellations. This than throws the schedule into a frenzy and it makes the work for everybody so hard to keep that energy level! As you can see they were well prepared because when I walked Into the grounds this sign shows you that they are expecting rain

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No Roof instead leave blowers and carpet cleaners (I call them)

 

 

Therefor to protect the players and my self from wearing out or down in the first week I keep it short and prepare for day 4!

 

It is an overcast day so I keep my fingers crossed we keep it dry today!

 

Yesterday Caroline had a practise on the center court of practise courts and the crowds gather as they get up and close with their favorite players

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
