The Sunday normally is not to busy because most players have 1 session before the tournament starts the next day however if you have as many players as I do it is a challenging day of making sure the nerves and expectations are met an settled.

A lot of players are now already in the mod of playing and their concentration is stating to rise for the big match.

First rounds are always a challenge as the preparation and the days leading up are all specifically scheduled around this upcoming day.

Therefor my time was spend with the players and really look for quality and maximize the time I get with them to prepare them Mentally Technically Tactically and Physically!

I had a great day with the all of the players and their team members and decided to take a group photo with the team of Daniela at the end of her practise! (Other teams will follow, I hope)

There was no time to do anything else but to make sure that everybody is fully prepared and will have their best US Open ever!

Unfortunately Ayumi Morita had to withdraw with Injury and will not be able to compete this year!

This is also part of the game now she will travel back to Japan and get ready for the Asian swing at the 4 quarter of the year!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
