Robert Lindstedt and Daniel Nestor have split as a doubles team.

The Swede Lindstedt appears to be upset about the split, writing that “the past few days have been some of the most stressful and annoying in my career. Daniel has decided not to play more with me. Neither he nor I have been pleased with the results or how the partnership has worked, but I had decided to do the right thing and finish playing the season.

The reasons why we split is not something I will go into here…This gave me three days to find a new partner for the US Open. I will play the US Open with Ryan Harrison and the rest of the year, I will play with Mahesh Bhupathi.”
