Cincinnati Is Seeing An Increase In Local Sponsorships  |

Cincinnati Masters officials can boast an almost full top player lineup for this week’s ATP-WTA Masters and are predicting attendance will exceed the record 176,000 posted in 2012.

The concept will certainly be pleasing to sponsors, who are doing their part to turn the Midwest event into a local draw – not merely putting up signage on site but also getting fans involved once on a more personal level.

Title sponsor Western & Southern insurance sponsors multiple pre-match coin flips while local eatery Skyline Chili is behind a “Casting Call” to select various singers for the pre-night match national anthem.

Social media also gets a workout, with sponsor UC Health running a contest online for the chance to sit up close at courtside for the two finals matches next weekend. Cincinnati’s Horseshoe Casino has come on board for the first time.

The event features the full range of television coverage from a mix of CBS, ESPN2 and the Tennis Channel.

Figures from 2012 indicate a viewership of 60 million across 160 nations.
