Guillermo Vilas Tennis Academy Teams Up With Russian Federation

The Guillermo Vilas Tennis Academy in Mallorca, Spain has teamed up with the Russian Tennis Federation to develop and train some of Russia’s top juniors. Shamil Tarpishchev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation and Guennadiy Zhukov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Tennis Federation, traveled to Mallorca and met up with Vilas as well as Rafael Nadal, who lives in the town of Manacor on the island.

The program offers personalized technical training and as well as physical conditioning, accommodations, and meals designed by expert nutritionists. The students will also go to school during their stays. The players will be monitored continuously together by GVTA and Russian Tennis Federation experts.
