Roger Federer lost to a qualifier ! Roger lost to guy you never heard of ? What’s happening? Nothing to worry about ! Yes that’s what we are saying. Men’s tennis has amazing depth. Amazing. There’s hundreds of guys out there that on any given day can beat anyone. That guy DELBONIS can really play. He is top ten material !

Is Rogi happy ? I would be if I were him. He got some mid year match play with a new Wilson racket . The new black stick is not the BLADE and it seem to take Wilson by surprise that RF was going into so many details. Roger had been playing with a 90 sq inch racket. Now Roger is using a 98 square inch racket. That’s a huge jump and adjustment. I’m certain he was having back issues. He put on a sweater vest after yesterday’s first set ended. The new racket might be a strain to his wrist ,arm,shoulder? He would have loved a win but he had a good run. He also had some fun. Coach and “bromance” buddy Gavin Rossdale was court side in the players guest box.

what’s next or Roger and the new racket ? Time will tell. But it’s a smart move for him and he probably made the big 8 inch jump because it’s inevitable. Also he has a thing about 8’s .
