Stalled ATP Moves Ahead In CEO Search  |

The ATP board of directors has failed to come to a consensus as to who its next CEO will be between Mark Young, head of the Americas division and Laurent Delanney, the head of the European division. A few days of discussion in London went nowhere and according to a report in USA Today.

Young will remain a candidate, but Delanney has withdrawn his candidacy.

Former CEO Brad Drewett passed away last month at 54.

The ATP wanted to stay inside the organization to find a CEO, like it did when it named Drewett to replace Adam Helfant, but so far it has been unsuccessful and may now go outside of the organization.

USA Today floated Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley, as a potential replacement.
