Day 3 was even longer than day 2 and even harder for most tennis fans to grasp what happened today! I am sure the papers will be full with stories and highlights but I only have one question to ask! Since last year we had Wimbledon followed within 3 weeks by the Olympics and knowing that a different approach was used to prepare the courts (with almost double the play on it) would this not have any effect on the surface? Maybe the AELTC will enlighten us tomorrow! However Google will give you a lot of insight articles to the procedures that were taken! What ever the reason may be I will say it is all part of the game we play!
It was another full house and a beautiful day of tennis you can not take that away from the most spectacular tennis tournament on the planet!
I will leave it at that for the moment and look forward to my bag check again in the morning to be allowed into the Vatican of Tennis
