Sirius XM Radio announced that it will offer subscribers comprehensive live coverage of Wimbledon for 2013 from the opening day of play on Monday, June 24, through the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles Finals on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7.
Live play-by-play of matches will air on Sirius channel 158 and XM channel 202 and on channel 963 on the SiriusXM Internet Radio App and online at
SiriusXM.com. Listeners will hear Live @ Wimbledon, the official radio broadcast of Wimbledon.
SiriusXM will offer up to 13 hours of live Wimbledon coverage daily from 4:00 am ET through the end of each day’s play giving them access to point-by-point action of matches on both Centre Court and the outer courts, plus pre- and post-match commentary, highlights and up-to-the-moment tournament news.
SiriusXM’s Wimbledon broadcasts are aired in association with ESPN Radio, rights holder to Live @ Wimbledon radio broadcasts in the U.S., and The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Some of last year’s broadcast talent included Annabelle Croft, Mats Wilander, Todd Martin, Wayne Ferreira, Rob Koenig and two of the Radio Roland Garros crew who will be back on at this version of Wimbledon: Gigi Salmon and Matt Cronin.
