Radwanska Hoping For A Repeat Of Last Year 
Despite losing her opening match at the Eastbourne International for the second year in a row as top seed, Agnieszka Radwanska is hoping that her recent grass court history repeats itself.
After going down on the English south coast in 2012, the Pole went onto reach the final at Wimbledon – her first at a grand slam – eventually losing to Serena Williams.
Now Radwanska is treading that same path again – but she is only halfway there. “Well, hopefully I will do the same,” she joked after losing in the first round. “I can just hope I can play the same as last year. It was not bad last year. I lost in first round here but was still playing great tennis in Wimbledon. You never know, but what I can do now?”
Radwanska said that she got caught out again by the quick-change from clay to grass, an annual problem for many players. “You can really feel on the body even a couple of days just in the practice, and I think every match costs you more than twice than on hard court.
But I think a couple of days of easy practice is next. It’s always good to be fresh, for sure.”
