Prince Opens Branded Store in Wimbledon

Prince is opening its first branded store. This one is in Wimbledon, just a short distance from the All England Club in London with postal code of SW19.

The Prince brand store will showcase the complete line of Prince performance tennis and squash racquets, footwear, strings, grips, and accessories as well as the latest line of Prince apparel, Wimbledon-by-Prince and exclusive Prince SW19 merchandise.

Conveying its image as a premium, authentic racquet sports brand, Prince’s flagship Wimbledon store will offer a unique opportunity for consumers to experience the complete Prince brand including a racquet tech service center and full racquet customization service including stringing and re-gripping.

Over the fortnight of the Wimbledon Championships, Prince will be highly visible throughout the entire Wimbledon Village as the official sponsor of all retail store windows, and is also the official license partner of Wimbledon for racquets, racquets accessories and bags with its Wimbledon-by-Prince branded products that can be found in all on-site retail outlets and kiosks.

During the Championships, as the tournament is known, Prince is planning a “Fortnight of Fun” at the SW19 store which will commence with a Private VIP and Media Event held on Saturday night, June 22nd, with tennis legend Nick Bollettieri in attendance along with other top Prince Tour Players.

The public Grand Opening for the Prince brand store will take place on Sunday, June 23rd, prior to the start of Wimbledon, where they will serve-up the traditional Wimbledon favorite of strawberries and cream while top Prince athletes , past and present, make special appearances during the celebration festivities.

Throughout the “Fortnight of Fun” Prince will be hosting a variety of other activities for tennis fans including daily player appearances, special guests, on-going promotions and giveaways.
