My 3rd day and as many days as many losses from the players I am following here at the TopShelf Open! That is what is called a road block on the way to Wimbledon 2013!

One highlight of the day was that Garbine Muguruza won her match today which gets her into the 2nd round! As I was watching the match I heard a lot of noise coming from court 1 ,next door. It was for a very special occasion because Dick Norman (the oldest active player) was playing his last tournament and also his last match and relieved a standing ovation from the mixed dutch/Belgium crowd!

The tournament transportation has been taken to a new level! The tournament has always had a very good car/transpiration service but this year Jaguar is the special official car of this year! However we might be able to get some competition from a car placed in the center of the village!

Overall the new look and feel of the tournament is about the same but the shops and food concessions have received an upgrade with the new title sponsor TopShelf!

As we are fully focused on the tournament here across the channel the Wimbledon qualifying have also started! I received many updates with this great app I use. I can follow all of the players that are under contract with adidas and many more check it out www.resultina.com

At the end of the day I went to watch Arantxa Rus play on center court unfortunately she lost but the court look spectacular while the sun was setting on the green grass!

Tomorrow another day at the Topshelf Open and many hours on the practise court to prepare what is ahead and with Daniela Hantuchova playing her 1st match 2nd after 11 on court 1!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
