In addition to King, Vegosen will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Vegosen is an active USTA leader on both the national and section level. In addition to serving on the USTA Board of Directors, he also is Vice President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). During his USTA presidency, Vegosen helped carry out the association’s 10 and Under Tennis initiative and oversaw the refurbishment of the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Vegosen began volunteering in the local Chicago area in the 1990s, serving as President of the Chicago District Tennis Association.
