The players party in Paris topped all players parties like never before. Lots of reasons why. Lots. Thank you Tennis Channel. The fact that the players were in a huge secure place was amazing. Not the usual cramped in and loud. The food was awesome. The consulate is over 70 sq feet of home and offices. The disc jockeys were awesome. Dr Dre and headsets over the top. The players and their guest could just hang out. Find a dance floor or a quiet couch. We thank you. Please read sevens postcard on this site. He has photos and told a great in depth accounting.

So sorry to see Venus go out in the first round. It was a tough match and it had its moments of see sawing and brilliance.

Great to see Ana come thru. She looked so great in her Adidas navy blue dress. The only thing We don’t understand is why Adidas would have such a mini logo on her clothes ? Imagine if she didn’t wear a visor you’d barely know her clothing sponsor. Someone’s snoozing.

It’s amazing that the ladies draw has six former champions. That’s really a lot for a 128 draw.

The BNP Paribas 40 th anniversary in tennis and the website name of wearetennis.com is huge on the back of all the French ball kids. That’s great. It really is. They pump money into tennis and deserve oodles of signage.

The television commentators are grumpy. Are jockeying for position.or know nothing. You know who you are. They Are talking too much and are annoying and it’s only day one. It’s going to be a long cold French open.
