Yesterday and Today starting with Rain and the courts at both the tournament and the official hotel tennis facilities are out of commission! Yesterday play have started late but all of the matches were finished on time!

Perfect time to send the postcard from Rome!

I am staying in the city of Rome with a dear friend who was one of my students during last year summer Camp! Everyday I take a short walk from their house to the Spanish Steps to take a taxi to the Foro Italico!

His name is Umberto Rossi, we were watching the doubles match of Fernando Verdasco yesterday while waiting for a mutual friend of ours

Of course we are in Italy and my other Italian friend was fashionably late but some of you may recognize him from my time in Vegas, Indian Wells and Miami! Yes it is BIG Y “Yury Bettoni” in the house…

I will stay a few extra days to enjoy the italian food and explore the city before taking some time off before Paris Starts!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
