After a little over a year of writing for the amazing 10sballs.com website, I am so proud and honored to have my own featured column! Kristen’s Kourt won’t just be a “news” column; it will be a mixture of news, opinion, and special interest pieces of what’s happening around the world of tennis – with my own unique viewpoint.

There are few things that bring me as much joy as the game of tennis does – both playing it and watching it. I was introduced to the sport during a particularly rough time in my life. Through the struggles, I found a very comforting solace in the game of tennis and it quickly became my safe haven. That could explain why to this day, it is one of the only things that never fails to make me feel better or put a smile on my face. The enjoyment I find in all aspects of tennis is exactly what I am going to pour into every one of my stories for this column. Passion doesn’t even begin to describe my love of the sport, and I want others to feel the same way.
Again, I am so excited to be a part of this site and I look forward to further discovering and exploring the game of tennis with each and every one of you.
