Yesterday was a 16 hour day starting with 8 am departure for the site with Caroline for an early practice

All smiles as the coach is going through the warmup routine in the back ground!

Both Laura Robson and Christina McHale had big wins yesterday which was great to watch these young girls compete at this high level beating A. Radwanska and S. Peng!

Madrid is a big city and has also big ambitions you can see that in the logo for the 2020 Olympic Bid but it looks like their ambition in the design they also aim for 20020 as well!

Last night the roof was closed as rain was coming at the moment the 2nd night match went on court around 11pm Dimitrov-Marti! Javier Marti came up short but showed in the 2nd set he will be challenging the big players on tour in the near future!

At 12:30 I was on my way to the hotel 17 hours later after the start of the day and now as I am writing this post it is 8:30 am (it takes about 30 min to the site)

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
