“World Tennis with Harry Cicma” will return for a fifth season nationally on New England Sports Network with 18 shows beginning May 31.
Each episode will air twice a week on NESN-TV for 18 consecutive weeks. Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the flagship sports Midwest Network, and the TV home for the Chicago Bulls, White Sox, Cubs and Blackhawks, has also picked up the show and will air 12 episodes. Grand Slam Tennis Tours and Albrecht Automotive are the title sponsors for the 18 shows, AlbrechtAuto for 12 shows and Grand Slam Tennis Tours for the remaining six. Other sponsors include Babolat, Ashaway Tennis Strings, Boomer Tennisrobot.com, CruiseControlGear.com and “The Bud Collins History of Tennis.”
This season’s series of shows includes interviews and features with John Isner, Venus Williams, 2013 International Tennis Hall of Fame inductee Martina Hingis, Andre Agassi, and Anna Kournikova among others. The series also includes interviews with leading figures in the tennis industry and coaching tips from some of the country’s highly-regarded teaching instructors.
Cicma is an on-air correspondent for NBC Sports and has served as a commentator for other networks including Fox Sports Net and Tennis Channel and the US Open tennis championship’s world feed. He is the TV voice of World Team Tennis. A former world-ranked doubles player, he is a graduate of Rutgers University
