University of Texas football coach Mack Brown and locally-based Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey will join Andy Roddick at the weekend as the former player’s charity foundation sponsors an Austin golf tournament to help children in need.

The Andy Roddick Foundations Celebrity Golf Classic April 14-15 is likely to find the patron also hitting the links in the fund-raising effort staged at a pair of local country clubs.

The two-day event will be split into sections, with a Bogey Down Party on April 14 for $250 followed a day later by a $6,000 golf foursome, the ARF Celebrity Golf Classic. A golf subscription also provides eight tickets to the festivities the night before.
