Day 3 Miami  |

When you have a day like this during a tournament like Miami @sonyopentennis you will have to call it one of the better days!

And when the day is so intense that all you have time for is your players and a lunch at 6 pm because it just turned out to be a day of no dead moments you are happy when you can make the only picture of the day and enjoy the beautiful sunset on the island of KeyBiscane

Caroline winning her 1st round was a tough one because we will be hearing much more of the Pliskova sisters in this year and years to come!

Ayumi winning in 3 over a strong player like Wickmeyer is a great feat her in such a big event!

Andrea Petkovic having a top 15 victory over Bartoli the first since 2011! I am so proud of Andrea being back on court

Also Timea “unlucky in Miami singles” Babos when her doubles today!

Now besides having had a great day at the tennis I was really happy to visit @wholefoods on the way back from the the site of @sonyopentennis and I will start my day tomorrow on route to the site at 8 am before the warmup with Christina McHale who will play Vinci at 11 am on court 2

Sorana (3rd after 11) and Daniela (2nd after 8:30) will be on court as well! so much to look forward to besides the additional practise sessions with Ayumi and Caroline!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.

No Key Biscayne, No Problem; New Site, Same Great Miami Open Tennis Event

It was the end of an era at Crandon Park for the Miami Open last year. From the Lipton, to the Nasdaq 100, to the Sony Ericsson, to the Sony, to the Miami Open presented by Itau, Key Biscayne saw it all.
