On the 11 Day @BNPPARISBASOPEN 1st day in 3 weeks I had a morning off! It has been more than worth it as the investment of time with our players is why we are here!
After going for a run I decided it was time for a road trip! In all of my years I have been coming to Indian Wells since 1992 I have never had a chance to go and visit MOUNT SAN JACINTO where there is a “Aerial Tram” (just like a ski lift) check it out onwww.pstramway.com
Spectacular views with a temperature difference of more than 40 degrees at more than 8000 feet with patches of snow at our feet! On tour you go to the most beautiful places in the world but we get seldom the chance to see the surrounding areas it took me 22 years to get up here!
Caroline was warming up for her match with Angelique Kerber at 4:30 so we had plenty of time to get to the courts!
As a rule we have the agreement with adidas that we as a program will not give any tactical advice to an adidas to beat an other adidas players and as both Caroline and Angelique are under contract I could go through the routines and focus only on her own game! Also I was not in the player box but was in a neutral position in the stadium.
I had a spectacular view of the court and decided to stay in my seat after the match to watch Maria Kirilenko (unfortunately she lost)!
I look forward to another final on sunday with Caroline, 3 in 4 years!
