Los Angeles Area Youth Play In Fila Tennis Clinic

On Saturday, Fila and non-profit organizations LA84 Foundation, the Southern California Tennis Association (SCTA) and National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) hosted a tennis clinic for kids at MountainGate Country Club. Some of the participants came from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Kids ages 4 to 17 received lessons from volunteer MountainGate tennis pros in a two-hour clinic that provided fundamental tennis instruction in a fun atmosphere that encouraged sportsmanship and enthusiasm for the game of tennis.

Fila provided kids with apparel gifts and a raffle giveaway for coveted courtside seats to the finals matches at the upcoming BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA on March 4-17 where Fila is a sponsor.

With the help of many individuals and friends of the NJTL, SCTA and the LA84 Foundation, juniors are able to gain valuable tennis experience and personal growth through tennis programs, special clinics and tournament events emphasizing the learning of basic tennis skills that will last a lifetime.
