Rafael Nadal isn’t a lefty! He plays tennis left handed. But that was a switch made years ago.
Rafael Nadal is back ! For how long? Time will tell … It’s absolutely fantastic to have him back. The tennis world is abuzz. Many of us wondered how his physical style of play held up as long as it did? We heard stories of Uncle Toni and the shoes of Rafa being sizes too small or extra tight. Almost bound? Why? In soccer you tape it around so it doesn’t fall off. But how often does that happen in tennis?
Remember Rafa’s mid length shorts? They were covering up knee bandages ? For years Rafa has changed directions and forced his body weight to shift And put more stress on those knees.
How do the boys feel to have him back. They all love and respect him so they are thrilled. How’s the media feel. Oh how we have missed him and his self taught English. He has had some great ways of pronouncing words (mis-pronouncing is more like it ) to choosing the wrong word… that he entertains us all with his ability to laugh at himself. He is cute. He is lovable. He is sexy. And Hot. He has something for everyone….
His favorite thing to do to opponents. Drive them crazy with his intensity as well as drive them crazy with his lefty spins.
Welcome back and hopefully we will have the King of Clay give us a great Red Clay season for 2013. .
