I saw “Global Chick ” what a goddess. She was on her way to Los Angeles for The Golden Globes. She does love the red carpet. Funniest thing. She asked about Americans and their fascination with a fat little girl named Honey boo boo. She couldn’t believe that a well known tv reporter compared her to Shirley Temple …. Hello…. Global Chick is right…..Sorry Pancho if we lose twitter followers but Honey boo boo is a boo boo waiting to happen…..She has no talent! Yes she is cute , …. Sassy and ill-mannered. Shirley Temple could sing. She could dance. She could act. She could remember volumes of dialogue and deliver it to make you cry with her. She danced with Bo Jangles and kept up with him. She was educated. She was a Well mannered little lady. This kid is a joke…. Sorry. Sad. But true. She is a mess. America wake up. Don’t encourage such poor behavior and bad judgement. Ok ” Gogo juice ” sounds yummy….but so does a Long Island Ice Tea….

We heard sad news that a few of our favorite tennis players in Southern California were having major health issues , The world famous Gorgeous Gussy Moran is recovering from a recent illness and ever bodies buddy in the Coachella Valley Jackie Cooper is battling cancer. Gussy is a Southern California hall of Famer. She and Teddy Tingling really got the AELTC ‘s attention as well as the entire world with her lace panties in 1949.
Big Boss is down under with Pancho. Her comment was that Jackie is the most loved club pro she has ever known. I think that’s agreed by all. The Desert Sun did an in depth article that there will be a gathering on Jan 27th.@the La Quinta resort.
10sballs.com has a whole bunch of players now wearing our patches. On their sleeves, hats , headbands , and wherever else we can now put them. Hooray some patch changes. It would have been nice to announce that. In had no idea. We had planned on ordering new patches for months…. ATP/WTA get your acts together. Tell potential investors in our sport the ” new rules ” ….
Ok. So whose wearing our patch? Our first player since the sites inception: drumroll … the great Xavier Malisse.The list continues. The amazing and totally awesome Dusan Vemic. Donald Young jr . And his coach / mother or mother/ coach Illona Young. Kristen Flipkins. I don’t watch a ton of ladies tennis but she is a super talented shotmaker.Future Top tenner. We also have the lovey and most fun , hardworking, Grand Slam Winner Bethany Mattek Sands and her hubby Justin.Bethany is coming back from injuries. Give her a few months of match toughness and watch out world. We have the great coach from the Kim clysters academy Max Braeckmann ,and his buddy Auzzie qualifier Ruben Bemelmans. That’s the whole roster ?oops. The always loyal writer/ player Thomas Shubert . Oh, and Gussy Moran !
Big congrats to the new doubles team of Max Mirnyi and Horia Tecau. They lost to the Bryans in the finals of Sydney? ( now you know why they left me home ..) a big get well shout out to all.
Oops I almost forgot. If you will be in the Los Angeles area save the date. March 4th. Justin Gimelstob has a great one day / night event planned. It will be a sellout. Los Angeles has a huge tennis fan base that’s untapped. Big congrats to Justin. March 4 @ the new Pauley Pavillion @ UCLA. And Deb , that’s only on a clear day …..

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
