Martin Van Daalen Takes A Position With The Finnish Tennis Federation  |

Martin Van Daalen, former National Men’s Tennis Coach in USTA Player Development Program in Boca Raton, Florida, told Daily Tennis News that he has taken a position as the Director of Player Development for the Finnish Tennis Association starting Feb 1, 2013.

 

The Association is starting a new player development program and Van Daalen will be responsible for the entire organization and structure from juniors to Davis Cup and Fed Cup.

 

The coaching education department will also be under his supervision.

 

The FTA (Finnish Tennis Association) has partnered with the “Good to Great” academy in Stockholm to provide their top prospects with more sparring and practice opportunities. GTG is run by Magnus Norman, Mikael Tillström and Nicklas Kulti.

 

Van Daalen is in Finland this week where his assignment will be announced today at a press conference.
