Former Grand Slam champions Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport are dipping their toes into television drama with both soon to film roles in the same episode of the long-running US police thriller “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”

 

The network announced the presence of the tennis pair on the small screen for next January. Evert, 57, broke her news in a Twitter feed marking her excitement at the new off-court adventure. “So excited to be on #CSI and working with my friend, (actress) Elizabeth Shue! We shoot the scenes soon!”

 

Evert and Davenport winner of three Grand Slams, will be onscreen with another former player, journeyman Justin Gimelstob. The plotline revolves around the death of a female pro, with the ex-athletes playing themselves.
