Tomas Berdych has qualified for the 2012 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, to be held at The O2 in London from November 5-12..
Berdych will be making his third consecutive appearance at the season finale. In 2012, the Czech has captured ATP World Tour titles at the Open Sud de France in Montpellier and Stockholm. The current World No. 6 also reached the final of the Mutua Madrid Open and the Winston-Salem Open, as well as reaching the semi-finals of the US Open.
In doubles, Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez have claimed their place at the season-ending event for the first time, becoming the sixth team to qualify. So far this season, the Spanish duo has captured ATP World Tour titles at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome and at the Credit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad. They join Bob and Mike Bryan, Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor, Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau, Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek, and Jonathan Marray and Frederik Nielsen as doubles qualifiers, leaving just two doubles team berths up for grabs.
