Lagardere and Tennis Canada have announced that Sport Chek will be the new title sponsor of the 2012 Face-Off, which will feature Milos Raonic, Andy Roddick, Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska playing in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on November 16.

“As the leading sports retailer in Canada, we are proud to be a major sponsor of this world-class event,” said Michael Medline, President, FGL Sport Ltd. “Tennis is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada, and we’re looking forward to bringing four of the greatest players to Toronto and providing fans with the ultimate tennis experience.”

As the title sponsor, Sport Chek headlines a growing roster of global and Canadian brands that have already committed their support to the event. These include Biotherm Homme, Commerce Court, Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square, Lacoste, Le Rendez-Vous des Maitres, Lowe’s and Toronto Star.

The evening’s schedule of events will include a mixed doubles match with special celebrity guests followed by Williams and Radwanska in a re-match of their 2012 Wimbledon final and a marquee match-up between two of tennis’ biggest hitters, Raonic and the now retired Roddick.
