RadioTennis.com’s Ken Thomas’ Quick Take:

“Man…. these girls are simply crushing the ball. They’re not being pushed off the baseline and they’re stepping into the ball and just rippin’ it. The tennis was simply outstanding yesterday….welcome to college tennis in the United States.”

“Laureen Embree is looking great. This young senior from the University of Florida can play. She has yet to lose one single match in the SEC Conference and a few years back, she won a USTA wild-card playoff spot to gain entrance into the French Open women’s main-draw where she lost to the current Olympic bronze medalist from Russia Nadia Petrova. Embree knows what she’s doing.”

If you get the chance log-on to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association web site and check out everything you would possibly want to know about intercollegiate tennis in the USA.”

“I know I say this often…but you should click-on today and check this out. These girls are playing some serious ball. It’s exceeded my expectations yesterday. Let’s do this. Boom-schack-a-lack-a Baby ! “
