This is turning into a rather disappointing fall for Brian Baker, who will remain well below the Top Fifty.

The qualifying fields this week were so weak that they ended up padding them with half a dozen doubles specialists. A couple of whom actually made the main draws. So little wonder if the qualifiers go out easily….
