Nathan Cuny is one of 10sballs.com guest writers. Currently he is in Louisiana and wanted to share some comments on the after math from storm Isaac that raged havoc in the region.
“Hurricane season is a surprising time. You never know what you’re going to get. 200 feet further down the road and my childhood home would’ve had 4 feet of water. But its not all as bad as the tv makes it with the people hollering and crying. Usually only the people who live in affected neighborhoods see each other sharing food and water. Bringing moments of joy in a hard time with a sandwich, a smile and even texts from two friends coming from time to time. Let’s not focus on the bad but accept that it has happened. Storms destroy but if you let them they also cleanse. But most of all don’t forget that us people right now in Louisiana and the gulf coast need immediate help!”
