After having no tour events since Wimbledon it was great to get back to the tour and start of the hardcourt season in Cincinnati! This is its 2nd year of the combined event for the WTA and ATP.

The Venue again has made a big improvement and increased the fan zone with a big terrace with Live music entertainment and a champagen bar.

For the spectators it is a tournament where they can get up and close with the players and with providing the fans, besides the order of play, they provide the practise schedule. This leads to pact outside practise courts!

The weather was mild to say the least with little humidity and not to much heat that again is a big advantage to many players because due to the olympics many players are tired. So this years tournament was also a great preparation for the 2012 US Open and a great indication of what names we can expect to go deep in New York.

The night sessions are always packet and many sell outs during the week. I would not be surprised they have broken some records.

It was great to be back on court again with all of our players but it was great to get a chance to have a short session with the Daughter, Lise, of a the person, Tex Swain, that has helped me get to where I am in Professional tennis.

This year was the 1st time I have ever experienced that a tournament provides VIP Parking for the players and their coaches. I must say very spoiled we get in Cincinnati!

Over all it was a great tournament and a must visit for the tennis Fan. This what a tournament should look like and I look forward to come back next!

I did not get a chance to say thank you and my goodbye’s to all the people in the players lounge and Player services, thanks again for making our lives easy!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
