Greetings to my readers everywhere. I’ve been so swamped since the Olympics. It was totally AmazeBalls. The event was under attended.Ticket sales / prices/ availability … It’s such a shame that so many people couldn’t watch yet so many of the seats went empty. It was the sad part . For sure they should have followed some of Wimbledons traditions. Like the ticket turn in box. What’s that you say. It’s the boxes similar to a postal box that you drop your ticket in as you exit the site. That way someone in the line outside pays half price. In the case of Wimby that $$ goes to charity. Tennis matches can last a long time. So the day starts at 11 ish and ends at dark or later. There’s simply is no excuse for empty seats. Empty seats on center court Wimbledon is unheard of …….

For our site. The best news was Max Mirnyi winning the Gold medal in mixed doubles with Victoria Azeranka !!!! How fantastic. Or as papa Nickolai would say Awesome !!! We are so happy. Still celebrating. In recent weeks we’ve caught up with Max winning dubs. Xavier Malisse and Ruben Bemelmens winning. Dusan Vemic … Novak winning Toronto and the one and only King Richard Krajicek visiting. So you see it’s been vrooming and zooming. and continent hopping.

We are at the airport on the way to New York City .. U.S . Open here we come .

Weve made some observations lately. Odd. But what else is new. Jim courier calls Mirka Federer. MURKA. That’s a good way to annoy her … Tennis on tv in the us is everywhere. Hard to find till it’s over ?

These new strings allow you to mis hit the ball and instead if a shank it’s a winner. We love Solinco strings. Their rackets. Their socks. Go KT you have a great company there.

My racket had cob webs and a dead spider on it. Yikes. That tells you it’s been awhile. Only been a week. But seems longer. Funny. Tried to get a photo but couldn’t. The web was too fine.

It’s been a rough few months for Donald Young jr. Also known as D.Y. He is a great guy. One of the nicest tennis kids we’ve ever known. We know he will turn this around :). Good luck kiddo.
