I started school this past Monday. The day after I got back from Kalamazoo I was strolling the hall of Bloomington South. No rest for the weary haha. I am happy this is my final year in high school. This is going to be a long year in anticipation of going to North Carolina, so I am happy to get it going. I am fortunate to have a lot of friends around school, as well as the guys on my high school team. I would say I hang out the most with friends that don’t play tennis at all and are just supportive of what I do, I really could care less whether I was really good or not. To them, I’m just Ronnie the kid, not the tennis player, which is nice. I like the change of pace that high school brings, and I think it makes me appreciate all tennis has done for me even more.

It was the end of an era at Crandon Park for the Miami Open last year. From the Lipton, to the Nasdaq 100, to the Sony Ericsson, to the Sony, to the Miami Open presented by Itau, Key Biscayne saw it all.
