The 2012 Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur has been working on improving the field of the event who will be playing in Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil, September 22 to 30.
This is the fourth year of the Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur and Tournament Director Nick Freyer of IMG has delivered the best line up of players in the tournament’s history, headlined by No. 5 David Ferrer of Spain and Argentina’s No. 11 Juan Monaco, along with Asia’s leading tennis star and No. 18 Kei Nishikori of Japan.
The cut-off for the Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur is at 55; meaning any player ranked after that would have to get through the tough qualifying rounds or gain a wild card into the main draw.
There are 19 direct acceptances in the main draw, three wild cards and four qualifiers.
