Serena Williams vs. Nicole Gibbs

Location: Taube Family Tennis Stadium

Time: Not before 3:00 pm

Event: Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams will begin her Bank of the West Classic title defense tomorrow afternoon against Stanford’s very own Nicole Gibbs. Exhibition Match: Pete Sampras vs. Michael Chang

Location: Taube Family Tennis Stadium

Time: 7:00 pm

Event: Tennis Legends Pete Sampras and Michael Chang will kick off a series of exhibition matches tomorrow evening at the Bank of the West Classic. Other exhibition matches will be Sampras vs. Jim Courier on Thursday, July 12 and Courier vs. Chang on Friday, July 13.

The 2012 Bank of the West Classic will be held from July 9th – 15th. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 866-WTA-TIXS (866-982-8497) or by logging on to www.BankoftheWestClassic.com. Single-session tickets for the tournament’s opening round start at just $26.
