Yikes. That was all Roger Federer got in a three out of five set semi final match. Ouch. All I saw was Roger’s face early in the first set. I said. Oh no. He has that ” out of sorts ” look. No….Not now… Not today… That ” bothered ” look….The “ruffled feathers” look….No…Why? The days off? The weather? The twins? Did they disrupt daddies precious sleep? Did Mirka burn breakfast ? It was 3-3 in the first when I walked away and said 19games. I had the set scores slightly off but that was about it. In the words of Roger Federer. What a pity.
Are we happy for Novak Djokovic ? Known formerly as Bounce, bounce, bounce. YES !!! We are huge fans of Novak. (Bigger Federer forever ) but we hope he wins his slam. Or we love RaFa the great Rafael Nadal. And what’s not to love about David Ferrer. We had four guys in the semis that are all amazing men trying to make History here. Novak . Roger. Rafa.
Grand slams. Career grand slams ? Do you all know the difference?
Maria sharapova we applaud you. You played a great event. A great effort. Big congrats. ….
The theory is the longer you stay on the court the better player usually wins. And Mr . Roger Federer has always been a huge fan of 3 out of 5 sets… Always. So what happened ?
How many of our readers would love to see Roger Federer win another Wimbledon ? This Wimbledon ?
How many of us want to see more grass events. ? I’m sure Tiriac is bothered that his blue clay got the no way ixnay……
…But are we ready for BLUE grass ? No not at Wimbledon but at all these Aegon BLUE events ?
The weather forecast for the first week is not wonderful. But it has to rain a little. I’ve been to 25 Wimbleons. I love rain delays. … Ok. I don’t. Who does ? The players are so thrown off by when to hit. When and what to eat. They have no idea if they are due on court in 30 minutes or 2 hours or three days … 10sballs.com sends out greetings to Sven , Mats , Floris ( team Adidas ) We also say if it can’t be Roger Federer holding the gold cup make it Andy Murray……
