Sven’s Blog – 3rd Day at Roland Garros  |

Hi Friends

Just finishing my 3rd day of the main draw! It is still feels funny to have a sunday start but the crowds love it! Everyday has been a full house. The weather has been exceptional and we can expect some upsets due to the fact that the ball will be traveling faster and the courts are getting harder.

The players are always having still have to have their warmups(regardless of the heat) either on the indoor court or the fitness center of the national training center of the french federation wich is located at the Roland Garros grounds! (Well hidden from the spectators)

The best way to follow the French Open is turn your phone into a radio and follow @radio_RG on twitter or turn into the site of www.rolandgarros.com where you have the radio player.

Li-Na had a perfect start in her opening match against one of our adidas girls Sorana Cirstea on center court on Monday. The support for Li-Na was evident in the presidential suite but also with the first chinese character billboard on phillipe chartier

Due to the fact that so many matches are being played everywhere around the player (lounge-locker room) area. Big screens are show casing the show courts to get a front row seat to live action around the grounds.

Today was a great day to see Anastasia Pacvlyuchenkova (Floris Minnaert prodigy) Ayumi Morita and Caroline Wozniacki go through however yesterday we lost Sorana Cirstea and Laura Robson in their 1st round encounters.

The last match of the day was closely watched by all the ball boys and girls of @rolandgarros. Who lined up to see their French Compatriot take out @serenawilliams in 3 sets!

Tomorrow will be a day of preparation and organisation to get ready for the next day!

The last 2 day I was accompanied by my stringing sponsor representative of Toalson and had several meetings with potential candidates that could be interested to play with the product!

Now heading to bed and tomorrow I will start the with a player breakfast meeting at 8:30 who will be getting prepared for the grass court season!
