To Cedars : we say get a bladder scanner ! Its silly in your huge state of the art emergency room that’s so big it needs it’s own zip code. Yet there were still patients in the hallways on gurneys…..
Yes , I run thru Los Angeles a bit. With my buddy Craig ( Craigs on Melrose blvd in West Hollywood ) having one of the hottest restaurants in town and all my friends with guest rooms or cottages how can I refuse. George Clooneys party for President Obama was fantastic. I missed Cannes … You can’t be everywhere … things come up. Still might hop a plane back over the pond. Puddle jumping right now on the way to Miami.
Is it me or are we getting too little of Roger ? Shouldn’t we get his match from start to finish. No interruptions. Same for Novak and Rafa and Murray. This cutting from match to match really stinks. I’m so spoiled that I’m usually on site. In the trenches. In media lounges and media workrooms where you can watch 5-10 matches on the monitor.
Being in England during Wimbledon or” tennis time” is AmazeBalls. They show tennis matches from early morning till late at night. Some live. Some not. but they show uninterrupted matches. What a great concept.
My updates. Saw Faye in Venus players box. Good for you Diva Faye. Saw some of Malisse and Baker. Didn’t see 10sballs.com patch on X. I knew Max was getting those patches on the sleeves … Sorry to see Michaela lose …glad to see Bethanie Mattek Sands win ! … and Thought the outfit was a Parisian chic ensemble… Sorry to see Ryan Harrison Lose his temper and cool again. That’s one angry guy … Saw Christina Mc hale grind one out …Vania King no relation to Billie Jean won today …
What happened to Feliciano Lopez ? Saw he retired down five zip in first set. First round.Saw Bernie Tomic won, Milos Raonic won , saw Ebden and Hewitt lost.
Amazing seeing Serena go out. But for real her career has been so limited based on Hollywood distractions .. Ha I shouldn’t talk. All the American chicks won except for the one that would have could have should have on the tourney. Her Serene Highness was most likely to be around the second week.
The clothes at this years French open are fantastic. Roy Sakaguchi from Nike has been a busy man. Bravo Roy ! Serenas clothes were awesome. Loved the French open backdrop colors on her ensemble. Loved the Rafa clothes. Loved the Federer look. The dirt baller with little areas of bright color.
A big thanks to Jack Neuworth for the super review he did on Vic Bradens book. Vic is a super nice guy. He wrote a great book. It’s a must have for Every tennis nerd in your life. Maybe even you !
